A hand moves lovingly over a white plushy seal, an inflatable rubber doll emerges near a hairy male breast, and a clunky robot rattles excitedly in front of a human body. In an experimental way the filmmaker combines close-ups of objects with images of human body parts, thus confronting artificial surfaces with living ones. As our everyday life becomes increasingly dominated by technology the relationship between man and machine intensifies, simultaneously becoming a balancing act between fascination and irritation.
