THE FILM OF KYIV is a long-term project that centers around observations of architectural locations and areas of urban space in the Ukrainian capital. One of these locations is the Podilsky Bridge, one of the world’s largest abandoned construction sites. Whilst Kiev’s mayor Vitaliy Klitschko is trying to find a way to complete the unfortunate and unmanageable project, the locals have long ago adapted to makeshift arrangements to their own needs - from sports and leisure to risky parcour-style attempts to get from one river bank to another.
